About Me
I'm Chris Morrison — a full-stack developer based in Ottawa who builds fast, accessible web apps and writes about the work along the way.
I've spent the last several years building full-stack and cloud applications — working across React, Next.js, Astro, Django, .NET, and Azure. Most of my work lives at the intersection of performance and usability: things that load fast, work for everyone, and don't get in the way.
Before I got into tech, I worked in mental health and youth services in Ottawa. That background shapes how I approach the work — I think about who's on the other side of the screen, not just what the code does.
This site is my space for writing, tutorials, and projects. No ads, no tracking, no paywalls — just the work.
